Default Anyone have a spouse/gf that doesn't leave you alone?

So I'm sitting here, surfing the web, my wife is up front talking on the phone with her mother for a bit and she gets off the phone and immediately walks back here to see what I'm doing and tell me about the conversation she had with her mom. I got home from work an hour and a half ago, cooked dinner and talked with her about her day and my day, sat and ate dinner with her - no TV - and talked some more about the ef'ing hail damage our van got today. It's not like she hasn't seen me. Basically, I can't be out of the room for 2 minutes, with the exception of going to the bathroom, without her tracking me down and seeing what I'm doing unless I announce to her where I'm going and what I'll be doing first. I can't just go do something without her seeing what I'm doing. It seems like she hates being in the house with me unless we're together. If I'm back in the computer room surfing the web or just working on something she'll keep asking me if I'm done yet and when I'm going to stop and spend time with her.

In totally unrelated news.... I got revved on by a Saleen Mustang while I was driving home tonight in my 94 Altima w/190K miles on it. I'm still trying to figure that one out.

CRAP! She's walking back here again.... *clicking Submit*

[edit] Forgot to add I've even tried talking to her about this and she just got pissed off and said that she doesn't do that.[/edit]

Cripes... she came back to tell me about a story on the news about "Greenies" dog treats that supposedly they're responsible for killing a lot of people's pets recently.

The relevance of this to our lives is that we gave our dogs a free sample of them once, 4 months ago.

I hear ya brother... You ever feel like its cool for her to talk endless bull**** but as soon as you start into a topic she's not into she's a million miles away? It can be really frustrating

Nah, I really don't have that problem. She listens to me, but her retention for what I say is horrible. I know that sounds like she really isn't listening but you'll just have to believe me, she does. I'll tell her something and then a couple of days later I'll mention it again and she'll give me that "WTH?" look. I've gone so far as to describe the time/location and what we were doing at the time of the conversation to remind her of it.

wow, that is so the story of me and my ex. she would be constantly pissed if I was on the computer instead of watching law and order with her. we have been broken up for a little over a year now, it was her decision.

W/o going all TTIWWOP... I love my wife and all but I don't think she's up to OT's stringent standards for a woman's physical appearance. She may not be IDP'able for you.

For the love of god... she came back again to mention some random thing and that she's going to take a shower.

Woman just get in the damn shower, I'll figure it out.

I need to clean the sand out of my crack.

I appreciate your condolences. Luckily, I only have a 30 minute commute to work. If I get a job any further north than where I'm at now I'll be screwed.

My ex-wife would stalk me like that when we were together. Drove me nuts. I'm an only child and have to have alone time. She was 1 of 3, always with large family. Way too high maint, attention hungry 24/7. One of the reasons we didn't make it.

My commute was 45 minutes each way, and I made sure to take the long way home, it was my only alone time.

yeah.. I had an older sister but we didn't get along and I had no friends in my neighborhood so I kept myself busy when I was younger. I have no problem being alone. She had 2 older sisters and plenty of friends living around her growing up so I guess that may have something to do with it.

Wow thats just like my girlfriend. "I just want to spend time with you!" So then I have to watch some stupid show on HGTV with her. She's also got this weird disease where she can't watch an entire TV show, so when a commercial comes on she changes the channel and forgets to go back. EVERY DAMN TIME.

heh... I never really talked to my wife at any stage in our relationship about cars b/c I know she couldn't couldn't give 2 ****s about it. Now that I've moved into photography instead of cars she's the same way, all she cares is that I'm not spending money on anything. The most I've ever talked to her about cars is "hey, i'm going to meet up with some <insert whatever car I owned at the time here> guys and go to <where ever>."
