Default E-85

NorCal Scooby newbie here.. I can’t seem to find much online involving straightforward answers so here it goes.. Are e-85 kits smog legal in CA? I was thinking of going e-85 but I don’t want to unless it’s smog legal. Whether that means getting a 50/50 tune or full 100% E-85. I’m so lost with all of this and want to get some answers and good discussions going!

well the basic answer would be no but chances are they wont know just like if you have a tune with a cobb. the biggest drawback is that really to get the most out of e 85 you will at least need to be stage 2 ie downpipe and 3in exhaust
