I'm going to go out on a limb and assume this is not safe.
Finally went to throw my new STi wheels on with 15mm adapter spacers, the stock studs are meant to protrude into the pockets in the back of the wheel, but mine appear to be too long.
Does anyone have experience grinding down studs?

So if your using a vf 39 with 650cc injectors and your at 65% duty at wot:

650 x 4 (you have 4 injectors)= 2600cc (but only at 100% duty) so 2600x.65 (65% duty cycle)= 1690cc (full fuel flow at wot). Then 30-50% or 1690cc would be your jet size. so jets that would flow 500cc-800cc would be ideal.

Now keep in mind boost aswell, alot of these meth pumps flow at 150psi, but if your running 22psi in the intake manifold then that counters the meth pump output, so 150psi-22psi= 128psi, so you have to get a jet that flow 500-800cc when the pump flow pressure is at 128psi.

lmk if i can help.
I'm running a 20g & 1000cc ya I'm still lost on the sizing haha I'm trying to understand it and this is really good info I might head down to underground and talk to nick about it

You can cut off like 1/4inch from the end of the studs using a cutoff wheel on a die grinder. Nothing sketchy about it really.

If you goto the Parts Reviews section of the forums and read the ISC Wheel Adapters review that's what the OP does.

looking that pic over again it looks like your adapter bolts dont even sit completly flush within the adapter? even if you did shave your studs, would the bolts fit in the wheel "pockets"?

Yes, the pockets are plenty big enough, just not deep enough for the further protruding stud. And now after mounting my stock wheels again, I noticed the pockets in those are enormous! Stupid STis...

Enlarged the pocket with a die grinder and a rotary cutting bit. I've read threads in NASIOC where people have done it.

I have the tools if you want to do that.

Those wheels look good on there! Of course, would be a lot better with spacers

Installed the 850cc injectors, moved it to the end of the driveway to get picked up and towed away for the tune =).
