My car either hates me or is still haunted by the ghost of dead rats I poisoned in the last subaru. I should keep a fire extinguisher in case it decides to self destruct. I couldn't find a decent hood at the upickit but I pulled an a-arm off to replace my bent one. Im pretty sure that's the cause of the shuttering when i hit the brakes. I've replaced all the brakes, wheels, bushings, axles already with no success. I measured my aarms and found one to be slightly longer (1/4"), even though it tracks perfectly straight.

I didn't get to swap my a-arm yet but it ran flawlessly for the run up white spar. Its ready for a bigger turbo now. We checked out that h6, but had reason to believe it had a ton of mileage. I wanted to pull some legacy splash guards but they wanted too much at 15$ each. It'd be nice if a wrecked STI or LGT showed up there.

If you get some, I may be interested in your old ones. I'd paint them up and fit them on my Frankenstein. Repairing/repainting them is pretty easy, just getting the correct paint to match is the hard part.

Nah I need new ones because all the clip brackets on the side skirts are snapped off. Previous owner tried gluing but they broke again. Driver side is ok but passenger side is dead. Funny. I have a hard time finding side skirts but I have a whole bunch of color matched paint laying around.

No go on the h6. It looked like it had way too many miles. On a more positive note, the engine is out and being torn down a bit while I wait on funds and me making up my mind as to what route I'm going with it. Thanks again for you help Sean!

I'm down. I will definitely check out this car show but not gonna be entering the frankenleggo. We should have a subaru corner in the parking lot, have our own car show(no charge)

Im down for a meet. Also for the car show. I should enter the Durango. It's got 125k and doesn't have any problems (except it's a tank)! Thats something to see.

Today I was in the arbys drivethru about to pay for my lunch when the teller told me that the lady behind me had paid for my lunch and she wanted to know what kind of car it was. I took it as suby love but didn't stick around to find out, probably because it looks so homely :-\ like I couldn't afford paint because I'm buying lunch. Haha, jokes on her!
Btw: I am waiting on 2 cans of matte black plastidip, probably end up going crazy with it. ;-P
