Yokohama ES100, 225/45/17 about $107 from tire Rack. That assumes you have a sedan ...

Default Kumho

Tire Rack also has Kumho ECSTA KU19, which run $105 in 225/45-17. These look to be very competitive with the Yokos.

I just bought a set of Potenza RE750s for my WRX ($144 at Tire Rack), but I was really debating between the other two tires mentioned. In the end, I went with the 750s because I had a good experience with them on my Prelude. I really wanted a quiet tire, and decided to go with something I knew rather than take a risk on something new.

Seriously, though the Yokos and Kumhos look like they would be pretty good, and the price is great.
