Thats what i mean by having a guideline. How does one judge score it heavily for one person while the other two have it for the other? Too much variance.

I missed it. But I did see the last few seconds of the highlight reel of the match. What they showed was Bendo's face taking a punch and his ass hitting the floor.

Yeah. If they all would have scored it for bendo 48-47 or maybe one 47-48 for Edgar I'd consider it damn close and a tough score. But being that close and then a 46-49? Finish the fight and that can't happen I suppose but the judges really seem to drop the ball on big, important, fights.

Ben better bring a much better game when he fights Diaz and even Cerrone or he will get his @$$ kicked. The card as a whole was good but I was very disappointed in the main event. Don't get me wrong, it was a great fight but with Ben's size advantage I think he should dominate, but he did not. He should feel damn lucky he walked away with the belt.

The Cerrone vs Guillard fight was much too short but good nonetheless. Can't wait to see him and Pettis battle it out.

I can't believe it. Edgar had rounds 3,4,and 5, and arguably 2.

Oh well I can't change anything, just voice my displeasure that Edgar was clearly robbed.

Cerrone looked good, he was able to recover from a big shot and score a knockout.

I thought Edgar had it personally but I knew it was super close. I thought that knockdown kind of sealed it for him just like bendos upkick sealing the first fight. Had that, take downs, and was yet again holding his own in the stand up. I agree with the first fight's decision more than this one. Oh well, it was a very exciting fight to watch.

Cerrone fight was pretty awesome. I thought he was out! Shields fight was very boring.

Frankie's manager and Benson's manager got into it after the fight backstage.

Ariel Helwani's twitter-

If you're wondering what the brouhaha was during the presser, I'm told Frankie's mgr @alidominance and Bendo's mgr @malkikawa got into a scuffle. Not sure who won, but I'm told it was the opposite of the main event, if you catch my drift. For whatever it's worth, Ali and his team say he punched Malki in the face. It seems like they didn't like what he had to say after the main event, although, I'm not quite sure what was said.

Well, overall a good night I guess.

Notably...

The Shields fight was retarded. You could tell Herman was pissed at the end. But I guess he stuck to his game plan.

Cerrone/ Guillard was short but awesome. Cerrone came out a little to cocky and Guillard should have capitalized. But like I said before his kicks are deadly.

And the main event....if a fight ever goes to decision there is always controversy. One of them should've finished it, never leave it up to the judges.

Most retarded saying ever, courtesy of Dana White.

1) Dont you think all fighters want to finish their fights (except if you're Jake Shields)? No, they rather get beat around the entire time and put themselves in more physical danger than necessary... We're talking top 20 fighters in the entire world. Unless #1 is fighting #10 or #20, you don't usually see that sort of disparity. It's so high level that it becomes like a chess match - which I think is less entertaining. You want to see knock outs? Watch Strikeforce, where there's less dominant wrestlers and sloppier striking. ...or just watch K1.

2) The judges should be competent enough to score the proper decision.

I didn't see the robbery.

I had it even going into the 5th. 5th was a draw to me. If Frankie had won, Ben would've been robbed and vice versa.

No one wins. I have it as a draw and it was a decent fight.

Bendo has a real problem in that he fights to the level of competition he is facing. He plans based on the perceived threat. He was decent with Pettis and has always been wild with Cerrone and much of his other WEC brethern. I think as a champ he is never as hungry as he was on his way to the title.

I am just glad I don't have to watch Edgar fight for a belt again anytime soon.

Recently-axed UFC fighter Jason "Mayhem" Miller was arrested today in Orange County, TMZ has learned -- after allegedly breaking into a church, spraying a fire extinguisher all over the place, and getting buck naked.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, the O.C. Sheriff's Office received a call early this morning from the Mission Hills Church in Mission Viejo about a possible burglary in progress.

When the deputies arrived, we're told they found the first and second floors covered in white fire extinguisher spray. Cops say the place was also trashed -- scattered CDs, books, and broken pictures.

When officers reached the second floor, we're told they found Miller naked on some couch -- totally awake and coherent.

Miller -- who also hosted the MTV reality show "Bully Beatdown" -- was taken into custody for burglary, and is currently being medically evaluated. It's unclear if Miller was under the influence.

It's worth noting -- UFC honcho Dana White cut Miller earlier this year, claiming "some crazy ***** happened backstage" at UFC 146 and Miller was fired.

Miller and White went back at it on Twitter recently, with Miller telling White to "kill yourself." Calls to Miller's rep were not returned.

Just read the article from another source just now...

I am kind of not surprised that it was mayhem when reading what he did. But still, this is getting to, or is at rock bottom.

Chael Sonnen vs. Forrest Griffin set for UFC event on December 29.
Chael's aiming for LHW title officially, beginning with Griffin.

Chael wont do much at lhw IMO. He would make for some good match ups though. He didn't beat silva so now he wants to fight a younger bigger faster wrestling based guy with better striking for the title? Don't see the logic

If they implement a 195 "Franklin" division. Chael would run that bitch

This. Griffin is my all time favorite, but it's not based on skill alone. He has beat Sonnen once, but that was a long time ago. I see Somnen winning this, but I'm rooting for Forrest, you can never count him out.

He's very good, if not the best, at selling fights. Hell a fight with Jones could possibly make him, Jones and the UFC more money than the Silva fight. That ($) is the logic and nothing else.

It will be interesting to see how this unfolds.

Well yeah he would sell the **** out of the fight but I meant logic from a fighters perspective on winning a belt, not money. And even that is stupid hey I lost two title fights watch me try again... Haha

I agree with you, from a fighter’s perspective it makes no sense to jump up in competition to fight Jones. His motivation is a chance at another HUGE payday,,,, not sure there is any logic involved or needed.

I’d pay to see
