Default Any good tire shop in VA, DC, MD to install tire?

Hello guys,

I just recently bought some new wheels 18 x 8 and I am putting on a 235 x 40 x 18 tire. From my previous wheel, someone tried to charge me $300 to put on set of tires on Rays wheels...yeah I know crazy. I am wondering if anyone know a good tire shop in Maryland, DC, Virginia that trustworthy and at a good price?

MACH V was also recommended, but I never heard of them and I do not know their price ~ anyone know how much they charge?

If anyone have any other places to recommend let me know. The local tire shops have been trying to overcharge me due to "fancy wheels" or "special tire installation" or "oh you have a sports car it will cost me an extra $50". The last one I was exaggerating, but in translation it literally what they said lol

Charging more for "fancy" wheels isn't uncommon. They can be difficult to mount correctly, without damage to the wheel, and can be hard to balance.

I've gone to Mach V before for some wheel replacements for curbed wheels (my wife curbs wheels like no one's business on her Escape and our old Focus ST). They did a great job and were quick. It looked like an OE mounted tire. Cost wasn't too bad but I can't remember how much. Give them a call. All-in-all, I highly recommend them.

MACH V is a well known shop in Subaru community. Maybe try them or IAG?

Just saw on instagram that NOVA subarus is getting a new group sponser from a mobile tire mounting and balancing operation (touchless machine). dunno the name, as its probably still in the works to be announced. might be worth looking into once the info is out.

Where did you end up taking your tires to get mounted? Thanks to a lovely bolt on 395 last weekend I need to replace a tire(s)
