Here is an idea. Can Mugen give me a computer that can match the economy numbers of the first generation insight? I know asking for 0-60 and ¼ mile times are pointless but if this could also match an SCCA STS prepped CRX that would be nice as well.

The suspension and airbox should work on the current model Fit. Bought the only things I would own as well.

I can dig it. The exhaust and wing are a bit over the top, but the rest of the car looks to be very Mazdaspeed/RX-8 to me. The gold rims are tight as well.

Does triangular exhaust piping flow better than circular?

Um, why? The gas that flows closer to the walls flows slower, a circle is the one shape that makes the largest volume of gas the furthest away form the walls. With no corners, the flow is less than inhibited. The fact that ALL exhaust is round is not an accident.

unless those parts include something along the lines of K20, K23, or K24 to replace the drivetrain that likely will fail to achieve the mileage/performance of my current CRX, no thanks.

It looks like they intended to set it up to exit through the center of the diffuser. Then just decided to take a day off and run it under the diffuser like every other exhaust. |

Honda needs to have nothing to do with Mugen anymore. They seem to only be focused on visual details and nothing performance oriented like they used to be. The CR-Z will be eleventybillion times better off without a single Mugen part.

Mugen has lost it. Their line of "performance parts" for the hyped CR-Z includes side mirror tint? How much is that going to cost?
