No thread yet this year? Reading up on the entry list. 141 entries is the most since 2019. Our favorite car is back again. Only has one competitor in SP4T.
Here's a good shot of it at last month's qualifier race.
Here's hoping the later date means they don't get any long weather delays this year.

With only one other competitor in the class-proper, is there any other nearby class that is close in terms of times / performance?

Their laptimes are about the same as TCR but the WRX doesn't fit that spec. Also pretty similar to GT4, which it also doesn't fit in. I think they just like beating faster cars and showing what they can do.

Race resumed? Watching various onboard feeds on YT. Watching the #150 BMW M4GT4 since I do watch videos of 3 of the drivers YT channels. Compared to IMSA and FIA WEC sites, the live timing feels like one of the user-unfriendliest interfaces for this kind of thing. Needs pictures.

What happened to the WRX? Was out of it this year. I think I heard they had a collision with another car, but can't find many details.
