Default 2004 wrx paseenger and rea windows dont work

hey guys, so i have a 2004 wrx. windows all worked fine before i took the doors off and painted the car.
when i put them back on, only the driver window works, I checked the connector at the door jamb and it was disconnected, so I plugged it in and checked em all. they were all plugged in but had the same issue.
Buddy had a window switch that was allegedly working before and that also did not fix my issue.
all windows will go down if i connect a 12v drill battery to them at each individual window switch harness so i know the motors are good. any other ideas?

I believe you have a window lockout on the drivers door. This is to prevent kids from opening windows, or annoying passengers.
Mine is a square button with a image of a window and an "X" on it.
