2005 Wrx Sti

Hello everyone. Very new to the Subaru world, and I’m looking at getting my first STI. It has been swapped with a brand new ej257 as the original blew up. The body has 140k on it. Its stock besides an intake, catback, and a ots stage 1 Cobb tune. Any advice for me would be greatly appreciated. I’m wondering if this is a safe buy.

I also wanted to mention I’m looking to just make this a reliable daily driver. Not looking to mod the engine or anything like that. I think I’ll be happy with it the way it is

This is totally the wrong section for your car, read the 1st stickie at the top of this section.
Your 2005 is not "old school".

You could post in newbie, general, Impreza (correct year), etc. Maybe a moderator will move it.
