I doubt it for the sole fact that the engines, while still 2.5litres, are still different.

He is not talking about a wrx 2.5. (06 sti vs 04 sti)

I would imagine so, since the '04-'05 STi UTEC is the same, and the engine has remained unchanged for '06.
