Used to be a common wheel fitment for sti, you'll find plenty of google images of stis running them. So all good.

2015 WRX/STi Aftermarket wheel and tire fitment
Short answer yes. Your tire would be about 12mm taller, almost half an inch. But with stock wheels your inset in plenty far enough I wouldn't worry about contacting the outer lip of the fender. If anything you may rub on the inside of the wheel well/fender liner if the susp compresses enough (hard bumps etc). |

gramlights 18x10.5 +12
Sorry I hate to ask but does anyone know if gramlights 18x10.5 +12 will fit on my 2017 subaru wrx? If they do fit, what are good size tires for them ? I will be buying them soon if they fit! Thanks guys!

Basically no, those will stick out about an inch and half more than can be fit without fender mods. I'm sure it could be done but you would be looking at rolled AND pulled fenders and good amount of negative camber with stretched tires. If your ok with that then maybe something like 245/45 on the 10.5" width wheel would offer pretty decent stretch. If they make them in a 18x10 +40 that would be a better option. Would still need to roll fenders for sure in rear but would otherwise be pretty decent fit and could run a wider tire like a 265/35. |

Getting gramlights 57c6 18x9.5 +38 with 265/35/18 tires. Going to be installing RCE yellows.
Expected to rub? Should I roll fenders? |

Based off previous comments, I think the rears will rub slightly on larger dips with 265/35 on stock springs. With the Yellows, I'd roll the rears to be safe.

AV-20 18x9.5 with a 255/35 tire - On RCE yellows
They also have em in 18x8.5 but I have no idea what tire i would get with those. Basically I just want a set I can bolt up that sits flush with no rubbing or turning issues at all. I have looked through literally every single page in this thread and all I have now is a headache lol. Will that set up top fit without any issue at all, if not what is a good tire size to go with those. If 9.5 is to wide then what size tire would you guys rec for the 8.5in wheel. Thanks in advance and sorry for being THAT guy |
