Default QT & Petrol Tiers

I filled up with QT last night and can honestly say my car feels like it's running smoother today. It was much cheaper than shell too!

I ran it on Chevron for a while and it felt lumpy.

I spoke to someone in work about this and they mentioned QT is very highly rated on the tier system and Chevron are actually a 2nd tier gas supplier... QT and Shell are 1st tier.

Anyone heard about this tier rating?

Been using Chev. 91 - No issues either (unless you count the fuel sender going bad on a new car??).

My car doesnt like Chevron either, but runs wonderfully on QT. Can a car get accustomed to certain gas?

Perhaps. But wives don't; they keep complaining.

I switched from QT to chevron and it seems to be running better on the stock mapping.
