The stock STi springs would drop your car between 0.5 to 1 inch.

Well, from the threads I have seen most people see between 12~20mm drop from the STi spring swap. And this is also true based on my personal experience too (my car got lower closer to 20mm).

The stock STi spring rate is 224 front, 193 rear. It will drop a WRX/RS about 15-20mm from stock. I have had them on my car before, and will be running them again after my Swift springs come off the car.

wow. that is great...
works well either way. so i guess swapping them and run without alignment is fine? i just did one 3 weeks ago in dale and dont feel like going there and spending 100 again. |

Ideally you should still have the alignments checked. |

I'd personally get an alignment done...but if you really mark the camber bolts well, and get it back to those marks, it may be ok for now.
