1. We have a forum for custom fabrication work
2. I have no problem having a discussion about how to build or make something, but the minute you think about selling them you need a vendor account. I will move this to the custom fabrication forum where you might get a little more input from others like yourself who like to design and fabricate parts for their car. |

A guy about 45 min from me just outside of Collingwood (I'm in Ontario). The company I work for uses him for all of their custom cutting/bending work, so I just design up my own components and get him to make them up.

very nice.
i was going to have one made for my honda accord 01. they dont make one for that car. sucks for me. i did find a local guy who welds steel and aluminum plus has a cnc machine. is there anything i shoild be aware of or make sure i should ask him? i was also curious where are you going to get that little red piece averyone gets in the brace package. it sits right up against the m/c and the long screw. it just always seems to be red. |

I would assume that red screw seat you are talking about would be manufactured for their specific application. They all look to be turned out of aluminum and anodized red. Personally I don't think it is a necessity unless your screw is not perpendicular to the brake cylinders surface, in which case it will be a lot of pressure on an extremely small surface area. Will you be doing up the design for them, or will the shop be measuring it up? |

So here is the final product. I made up another one because I liked the wrinkle red instead of the gloss black.

Yeah, I really like it in red with the wrinkle. Think i'm going to try one in textured black.
Next project... front fender cowl braces. Have a pair of prototypes made up. Just have to try them on the car |
