Default Where to go off-road driving in GA

Where do you guys go off-road driving here in atlanta? Any good places where I wont have to be concerned about getting pulled over for wreckless driving?
Where do you go drive for fun over the weekends?
I really want to go to a dirt track because these cars...that's where they belong, and also I am tired of going 120mph on ga400(not fun anymore)

120 on 400?

I just used to go out to Acworth where all the new development is. There were some really..... REALLY awesome spots off of Cedar Crest Rd. But I highly doubt those are still there. Of course you can alwyas go to redtop... whoa doggy!

Dibs on wheels.

On a serious note though, aren't there numerous national/state forest areas in the northern end of the state?

Talking Red Top Mountain State Park?

Something like this:

Just wait till fall and winter when the water level goes down and use that all-wheel drive for what it was made for!!
God I love Georgia....

Its up 75. Right before Cartersville and right past Lake Allatoona.

Go to Dixie Speedway, they got dirt tracks.

Everybody flaming at me because I said going 120 on 400 is not fun anymore is lame.

I said I am tired of going 120 on ga400 but that's not the same as if I drive on 400 with 120 all the time...
See, my morning commute is 400->75 coming from alpharetta and usually traffic is very bad up until you reach the toll. After that there's a long straight where there are no cops 99% of the time, and traffic is pretty good all the way to when 400 merges with 85. Anyway I am in no way an irresponsible driver, and know my limits, and my car's limits, and have never been in an accident caused by me so would you all please get off my case?
I wanted to know if anybody knows a good place to drive hard and not get a ticket, preferrably a dirt road. Something like a construction site, old airport, or anything like that
that's all

I was kidding about Red Top. Cedar Crest Rd. in Acworth might have some spots there. But Red Top isn't a real good spot.

Driving 120 on a public road is lame, regardless of how good a driver you are (or think you are). Doesn't matter how much traffic there is, how little the road is patrolled or what you cars limits are. What happens when your doing 120 and the Mom in the mini van doing 65 changes lanes because you are so far back? Little does she know your going almost twice as fast.
