Thumbs up 2011 Stage 2 WRX

I guess I'll post a few of my 2011 WRX. Right now I'm stage 2 with invidia turbo back, cobb short ram, dyno tuned and stage 2 clutch. Plasti dipped the wheels today and I personally love it!

Right after I got it:

Red Rally Armor mudflaps on:

Cruising with a Supra, 2011 Evo, 2004 STi and a Turbo'd Saturn:

Blacked out my WRX badge on the sides and the wheels:

Default woohoo

just got driven into by some dickless piece of @#$% in a riced out civic. He decided to make a U turn across a double yellow, in a commercial area, and finish the reversing of his three point turn in my left front bumper. All while i was laying on the horn. I have already filed a claim, but Hella Horns are the next mod to come. So mad.

Sometimes it is the little things that make the difference. My center caps finally came in.

Nice! You wouldn't happen to be the one that had been waiting on these center caps to come in for months, would you? I'm all over the place and get confused about who gets what when.

Yeah I have been waiting awhile. RavSpec had the silver ones I believe but I was very specific in wanting black. I received the wheels before these were available so we waited until the new ones came out as the old ones didn't really match.

i waited so long for my silver caps also. i ordered directly from workusa too.

so i need opinions because i'm on the ball here and i don't know what would be better i guess?

1) do i paint match all my sti badges, even the ones in the fender to match my wheels in highlighter yellow? i'm partial because then my rear will look weird i think because the tails are red know what i mean?

2) should i go lower? it looks good from some angles, but then sometimes i feel like its a monster truck.

i'm also in the process of blacking out all the chrome and silver on the car. like the stuff around the badge (not the stars) and the door trim, rear trim etc etc.

i'm basically trying to cut down on all the contrasting things. all stickers are going to come off i think. i'm open to any suggestions for things to clean the car up a bit and just make it look well put together.

oh and car is going back to the body shop wednesday

1) Yes.

2) Yes.

I vote: no stickers, eliminate all chrome, and kick that body shop in the tits.

Do NOT make your STI badges that yellow. I think it would look horrible.

Your height is pretty good now. I think I'm going to try to go another 1/2in lower than I am now and be happy with it. It depends if I'll rub on my fenders during hard cornering or not. I do ever so slightly now, but maybe I'll gain a touch more rear camber to clear the fender.

The price we pay for real wheels.

I wouldn't personally. That will make them stand out way too much and ruin the flow of the car. People expect the badges to stay a certain color and when that changes...it draws too much attention to the badges instead of the rest of the car. At least that is the way I feel about it.

I wouldn't. I like the height yours is right now. Mine will probably sit right there too when the new suspension setup gets here.

Can't blame you here. I am not a fan of chrome either. At least with my silver, you don't notice it around the badges. On darker cars, it stands out more.

That is what I try to do with mine as well so I completely get where you are coming from. It is all about how the look of the car flows from front to rear.

I agree. ^

Yellow badges would be too much. Functional drops are way sexier than slamming it, in my opinion. Chrome is the worst, though, so get rid of that. I'll do mine eventually, but it's too damn hot out here. haha

BLASPHEMY!

Haha car looks great Jive, I feel you on the yellow badges in contrast to the tails though. Maybe just leave the rear debadged and do the side badges in black with the sti text done in yellow?

Jive, the height you're at now is PERFECT! PERFECT! Leave it alone, sir. Please and thank you.

Kenward, you craycray. Chrome is awesome.

Chrome is only good in black/grey white or silver.

At the fresh meet my car looked like a monster truck next to supa's sti and the rest of the sti's amid slammed cars. Then again I'm also running more tire than anyone I know.

Yeah I might just do normal badges and paint my Hellas that color.

paint match your side badges (wrb) with highlighter yellow STi logo in them! I paint matched mine and then put red back in the STi cut out. Looks great...
