Default Cobb ap issue?!

I tore apart my intake mani to fix my fuel leak problem since rails are under the intake, all said and done, i put it back together, like 99% sure everything was put together correctly, no engine codes fires up and idles and runs perfectly, reflashed my map back on seein as my battery was disconnected throughout the whole procedure on the car. Turn the car on, along with the ap.. DAM is .5 and was always at 1. Is this an issue or do i need to actually drive it for it to learn the map and what not? I read somewhere by default it sets it at .5.. but im scared to drive it while its that low. The car is an 06 sti if that helps

Mods done are turbo back exhaust, with the cobb sri and airbox. Basically stage 2 with 93 octane gas

Disconnecting the battery does nothing to the map (stock or modded), all that DOES happen is you lose fine learning, but no need to reflash the map.
I say go drive it and check as it learns.

Actually it depends on whether the map was loaded as base or real-time. A base map is persistent and won't be affected by a battery pull or ECU reset, but a real-time map will be cleared and replaced by the base map.
As for the DAM, not sure but it would probably have been better to post this in the Engine Management forum AP section. Check it again after a few days of driving around, just don't beat on it if you're concerned. Also make sure everything is properly connected and secured.

Cobb ots maps will drop the DAM to .5 on ECU reset and requires driving to get it back up to 1.0 provided all is well.
