YouTube - old_gc8 gymkhana 06 video

yeah it sucks that the audio can't be heard. youtube started that whole copy right stuff and started to mute alot of videos on the site. i just have to find my old videos and start making like a new video without background music. i also have new videos just got to find them on my harddrive. i'll make it and post them on the members forum sometime in the future.

I absolutely love your car. dont get my wrong it makes mine look like dog doodie. my only question is why two tachometers? you have one in the original cluster, why have a huge monster tach?

kinda makes me remember the local honda scene...but those honda kids didnt even have their tachs up and running...

"Not in the way at all" is a stretch (even when it is down)!

For limited increase in accessibility while drifting in 1-2 you live every day with this embarassing poseur handbrake? No thanks.

You say poseur handbrake you must not have watched the videos or ridden with him ive done both and old-duwel is by no means a poseur.

Wow you must not have seen old-duwels videos or ridden with him to make a statement like that because he is by now way a poseur.

actually i got it for free from my last base at Misawa as a going away gift... i use to drag race up there and for a little bit down here on Okinawa. i basically use the shift light more than the gauge... i wasn't sure if i wanted to re-mount the tach much lower, but i use the shift light now for gymkhana and autocross so it can tell me when i am very close to redline.

yes, i will live with it and love it. everyone that has seen it in person loves it... their first question is. "is it in the way?" then i have them sit in it and release the e-brake. alot of my friends like it and they want to make some for there silvias(even though they don't really need it).

it's just an handbrake extension... some of team orange STI's have them and it looks easy to make. they just don't have them bend up like mine... the Japan rally STI's have them also and it's a simple bar that they had add to the handbrake. i wasn't sure if i wanted on made for my car until i got to see one in person myself. a japanese friend of mine that runs gymkhana, drives a 03 STI spec C with that same extension. he had some shop make one for him. i rode with him during an event and it awsome little upgrade. you don't have to pull very hard and it locks up so much better.

here a picture of team orange, GC8 handbrake
