To the OP, I would only update one part of your list...under "known issues" you stated that the trunk chips are from closing the trunks too hard or slamming them. It has not been determined by Subaru or anyone else what is causing the paint chips. Posting that it is due to slamming the trunk is probably not the best thing for us '15 owners who are waiting for Subaru to fix it...

Other than that, this list is awesome! Thank you for taking the time to put this together.

I edited it w/the tie-down possibility, but as a precaution people should IMO not slam their trunks until the determination has been made as to why the chips are happening. It could be tie-down straps on the boats or it could be the stops/latch adjustment is too low causing contact when the trunk is slammed shut.

I know i'm closing mine carefully in the time being. I don't have any chips yet but it makes more sense to me that the issue is caused by the latch/bumpstop adjustments.

In no way is there a possibility that this is because of tie-down straps..

I didn't see it in here but does the fa motor have a different bolt pattern for the transmission therefore the sti transmission not fitting the wrx anymore?

Some have. I plan to go with Redline when I do my first, which will probably be at 2k or so. That is if I ever get my WRX.

Sorry if this was already covered, but i want to order wheels. Anyone know the limit? maybe with a little roll? offset and width would be awesome. and tires size.

Changes for the Better

Anytime a new model comes out, we all hope Subaru listened to us and made things better. Well they have! Subaru has done a lot of little things that all add up and make the car that much better!

We all like to put on wider wheels and tires as well as lower the car (sometimes too much) and there are always limits. Subaru has watched how we all end up rolling fenders (or let the tires do the rolling for us) and they have finally got rid of that huge lip in the rear fender. As you can see, they removed the area that always rubbed and always need to be modified. The removal of this lip saves us all tons of time in not have to roll fenders or cut sheet metal. A benefit of Subaru doing this is that 275 wide tires will easily fit on this car as show below.

Not sure where should I put this information but it appears that Rokblokz just recently released a mud flaps that is specifically designed for the 2015 WRX/STI.

http://www.rokblokz.com/store.html#!...69&id=36549314

It might be a good alternative to people who cannot wait for Rally Armor.

Thanks,
I think it was removed because someone stole Spee D's vid and posted it. If I'm correct, the original video was this one:
