It'll work just fine, but it will reduce the overall life of the module. The fine print of the TapTurn order page says:

"TapTurn is an automobile signal flasher that uses mechanical relays that click audibly for each on/off cycle. Mechanical relays wear and have a limited life expectancy subject to frequency of use and electrical load switched. StrobePack options operate at increased frequency which acclerates wear and shortens the useful life of the product. Different bulb types have different load characteristics and for maximum life expectancy LED bulbs are recommended in all signal bulb sockets around the vehicle."

Sorry if this has been addressed already, does anyone know why the fa20's use an angled conrod? like whats the science behind it, does it somehow negate a poor rod/stroke ratio?

Official reason is for size. Allows for a longer stroke in the same size block. It also helps with strength.

http://www.caranddriver.com/news/sub...t-four-engines

"Even though the stroke is slightly longer, the FBís exterior dimensions are basically unchanged from the EJís. Subaru achieved this by employing asymmetrical connecting rods like those it used to increase the stroke of the flat-six in the Tribeca without drastically changing the engine. The lamb-chop-shaped rods also ease assembly of the bottom end. Subaru says 80 percent of the engineís cooling capacity is routed to the head, and it even added a cooling circuit to the exhaust-gas recirculation channel. By doing this, it was able to reduce NOx emissions. "

I've taken a lot of kidding about my Windows phone but am pleased to report that it receives and sends texts perfectly through the HK system.

Nav only right? I have the HK but no nav. I look in Bluetooth settings and the options you showed on my iPhone are not there.

Yes I have the hk+nav. Not sure on the non nav version. Try removing the connection from both your car and your phone. Then repair. I had this issue on my wife's outback and when I repaired the option showed up.

I assume the wrx limited has the same option of hk with no nav.

I'm annoyed that you have to have nav for push button start. Oem nav sux for all cars.

Are you 100% sure? That's odd that the STI limited lets you get HK without nav while the wrx limited you can't.

That blows.

Does anyone know if this will work if you replace the factory H/K radio (the one with the touchscreen/NAV) with a Pioneer 4000NEX?

Not sure. But you will have to program the steering wheel controls anyway.
