I hope this doesn't happen very often - it's a really fun car to drive and a very good road-trip car for two, and I'd hate to have that spoiled by electronic configurations that need continual resetting...

There is an update for that....

Would that be a Subaru TSB or an aftermarket work-around of some sort?

On edit, I'd have thought that a 2019 manufactured in December of 2018 would have had bugs like that exterminated already.

For Father's Day my kids and wife got me a box of gifts including a sign for Reserved Parking for Subaru Drivers. Installed immediately on my garage wall. I love it.

Happy Father's Day to all you fathers.

Well, reflection off the side glass of the bright surround and direction grab-button for the vent to the left of the steering finally bothered me to the point of actually doing something about it. It's now flat black pretty much the same shade as the rest. Just one little area at the very bottom that came out a bit too glossy that I'll eventually touch up.

Dropped it off Friday to be fully detailed and wet sanded. My paint was messed up for 3 years from a skunk spraying it. Besides 3 minor dings and minor wheel rash the car looks amazing. Best $200 spent on this thing; looks almost new.

Used to have 1x1" stains of toxic skunk juice every foot top to bottom in about 25 spots, pretty much all gone. Premium trade in offer when ready to get the STI!

Brother flew in from Colorado to visit the folks so took my dad and brother for a ride in the STi to grab lunch. First time it moved since the ceramic coating was put on. Got to really see the paint in the sun today and the metallic really pops now. Still haven't done the water test though, to nice right now to get wet!

Brakes on the WRX has been felling kind of sloppy so I slammed on the brakes from 65mph to 15 a few times to clean off the pad surface. Grabs good again.

Measured and eyeballed fitment for a turbo in case I can't get the right trade-in deal I want. Thinking about keeping it in the family with a VF48.

Washed and ceramic coated the paint and drove it a bit, first time in over a week! Still has less then 400 miles on it! Had 5 miles when I bought it... lol

Installed the Perrin trunk handle. To me worth the $25 or whatever it was.

Already did this. You will be happy with it. Install takes maybe 20 min tops. Super easy.

Iíve also set my bass to -1, mid 1, trbl 2 (I think). I also pushed the sound two clicks to the rear. Iím very pleased.

There are multiple internet vendors you can buy them from. I purchased mine from SMY Performance (https://www.smyperformance.com/jdm-s...9-wrx-sti.html). You can also buy them from Subispeed, they just added them to their inventory last week or so (http://www.subispeed.com/2015-subaru...i#.XQzdC3TsaUk). Another source is PartstownJDM (http://www.partstownjdm.com/JDM-genu...STI_p_115.html).

From Subaru parts directly or elsewhere? As in the tweeter and sub?

Ordered online through Ganley Subaru. MUCH cheaper than my dealership. Best deal I found was through Ganley Subaru.
