Washed with my prime day purchases (Meguiars Gold Class Wash and microfiber cloths). It's so difficult to keep the car nice with a nearly 5 year old and 3.5 year old. At least the mark that my son left on the front quarter panel when he opened the Sienna door and hit the WRX seemed to wash out and is less noticeable when clean. Also realized that I enjoy driving the WRX a whole lot more than the Sienna and most of the other vehicles that I have had.

Took my STI out for a spirited run yesterday and today and found it developed a squeak (metal to rubber sound) coming from the either the frame or rear suspension. I greased the rear swaybar bushings today with no improvement. Ordered a pair of Kartboy endlinks and will give it a shot in about a week.

It does not make any noise while going over bumpy roads nor going straight so I don't think it's the rear dampers or any other suspension/drivetrain related bushings. Only when the car leans while making quick left/right turns, going up/down driveway curb which points towards the swaybar/endlinks..

Installed my new to me RCE black springs. Gave it a nice slight drop, went on a quick drive to the store and didn't notice to much change in ride quality.

Really tried to hold off to install stage 1 Cobb OTS prior to 5k miles but that didn't work. Gave in and installed it today. Ordered Cobb SF intake and catted downpipe so will be stage 2 in about 3 weeks after I get back from NY.

Mod bug has taken over!!

Nice! I too run the Cobb Stage1+. That along with a pair of Remark muffler deletes was all that I needed on my daily driver as far as engine related mods.

Do you have a mid pipe paired with your Remark deletes or you're still on the stock mid pipe?

Took my Hawkeye to redline today for kicks and heard a noise, looked back and saw the OEM exhaust tip fly off the car and go tumbling down the road. Guess I can say I have a high flow exhaust now haha

Now that itís gone I want to source another one, it looks weird without it...

My Kartboy endlinks arrived for my STI. Will swap them out over the weekend in hopes it gets rid of the squeak/creaking noise..

Based on another post, I decided to pull my MAP sensor (PRESSURE sensor, to be clear) in my 2014 Forester XT, which is installed directly atop the intake manifold, aft. It was coated with a very thin film of a very dark, oily like substance that had a 3D geometry (it stuck out from the bulb) A spritz of MAF cleaner from each of the four axis had it looking like new.

I've never seen a MAP sensor that looked, well, kinda like a MAF sensor. Any thoughts?

I forgot to grab a pic and will do so when I get the chance, but here's a dirtier example from another FXT:

Now that I think about it, I also forgot to add a dab of dielectric grease to the connector, which I do any time I take one apart.

//

P.s., the MAP sensor in my '15 Legacy 2.5 (non-turbo) is located in the same exact location, but appears as a normal MAP sensor of old, except it dips into the intake manifold, too, instead of having a vacuum tube attached to it.

Installed my Cobb SF Intake with airbox and loaded Cobb Stage 1+. Nice to hear the turbo spooling up. Downpipe came along with the intake but that will have to wait until I get back from vacation.

ordered new spoiler wings As well as today needs to come in clutch plates which I ordered on site . If the output will come and the wings, then arrange the garage a bit of a mess.

^^ Ouch..

For me, installed the Kartboy endlinks on the stock rear swaybar (hoping to rid this squeaking/creaking noise on my STI) and to my surprise the rear response feels refreshed and faster than the stockers. But the noise from the rear of the car worsened. LOL

After scratching my head for a while, and rethinking what would cause this noise, I realized the noise was coming from the Cusco rear cross brace. Loosened one of the bolts, retightened and creaking/squeak noise went away. It needed adjusting probably due to thermal expansion. I installed them while it was cold outside, so with the summer heat it appears it had to be re-seated in its brackets.

Oh well, at least it was not a total waste spending $125 on the rear endlinks.

Be careful. For a '19 STI Cobb does not have an OTS map for both their intake and downpipe installed. It's one or the other. Check the map notes for context but here is a quote from Kyle at Cobb answering a question about running the intake and dp.

"You'll have to return the intake to stock to run the Stage 2 maps. Another option would be to add the required fuel modifications and run the Stage 3 maps."

Hope you still got that stock intake cause you'll need it to run stage 2. Otherwise, buy some new injectors.

Gonna try to remove these clip-on window trim/rain guard things because above 60km/h it sounds like the window is open. They're held on with a double sided tape. I'm hoping the tape glue comes off without taking the paint off underneath..

New windshield wipers. Topped up fluid.

Installed an old GFB BOV.

Changed the heater hoses (fixing a small coolant leak - causing little puddles anywhere I park with the car hot). pita job!
