Hummm... Thanks for the feedback. It does make your engine bay look good.

I too run the Cusco brake brace as well on my STI and WRX.

You might notice a little less vibration or a feeling of increased solidity. This goes more to driver confidence than to vehicle performance directly.

High temperature engine paint . . . not sure what sort of prep work might be involved though.

REV6 of my etune from [email protected] Performance.

Cleaned some marks off the front glass.

Installed my Denso low-profile windshield wipers. Sooo much better than the WalMart specials I had on there, almost totally eliminates any part of the windshield wiper from my immediate viewpoint.

Nice. My brembos are black. They were originally gold as they came from a jdm forester sti, but I wanted a more subtle look, so I got them redone by detective coating.

I finally fixed my squeaking clutch due to the poor firewalls in the GR Imprezas. I opted to go with a welded repair as my friend has a welder so the repair only cost me some beer. We planned to tack weld the broken spot welds and then weld a washer around the tack weld to spread the forces on the firewall.

The repair was going great till we set my car on fire! :O

We quickly grabbed the near by fire extinguisher and put out the fire which resulted in a lot of clean up having to occur. Did you know that fire extinguisher stuff goes everywhere!

Photos to come once I figure out how to post them.

Not directly STI/WRX related, but got a new Milwaukee brushless 3/8 impact driver for my garage. 450ft/lbs tightening 600ft/lbs loosening. Should come in real handy.

It will be well worth the wait. I have the Greddy non resonated mid pipe with the muffler deletes and it sounds great.

Do new Subies come with a period of free road hazard protection? Would that cover a new tire or just a patch?

I put a 19 mm sway bar on my 2015 Impreza (all in about $300) . I had none before. I cannot tell the difference.

I also drove into a curb and scratched the crap out of my bumper. I can definitely notice that.

Default Today I had to have my son pull my other sons 97 impreza home

We have been chasing a fantom issue. No engine light or codes. Runs smooth then spit and sputter and dies won't start back up. Changed fuel pump, filter and crank sensor already and no change. I have the cam sensor to change tomorrow. It did have an evap code and fuel temp sensor code but I don't believe those would cause this issue. I really ont want to have to replace parts until I just happen to find out hundreds of dollars later.. Any thoughts???
