Default 08-14 wrx throwout bearing clip

Does anyone know if this part# 30539AA000 has a spot on the 08-14 WRX? The diagrams on the e-part stores show it as part of it but doesn't have it listed as a purchasable part. My tob destroyed it self and never saw it

I believe it is the throwout bearing retaining clip (1 on each side)

You don't need them. That body style WRX doesn't require them.

Default 08-14 Throw out bearing clips

Hey guys replacing my clutch and I have these two clips (30539AA000) for securing my throw out bearing to my fork. For the life of my I can not figure out to use them, field service manual is not extremely clear. Subaru says these parts are used on a 14 WRX but I came across this post https://forums.nasioc.com/forums/sho....php?t=2820758
which says they are not used. Are any clips used to secure the throw out bearing to the fork? Anyone of a picture?
I did not see them on my when I pulled my stock clutch, my my TOB was broke so I figured they got lost somewhere.
Thanks

Thanks, I have that, but it's for securing the fork to the pivot ball, not the TOB to the fork.

Sorry, I mis-read your post.

There is no clip to secure the TOB to the fork.

Did you have any problems moving foward without the clip while driving? I have the same case as you, I never saw the clip for the throwout bearing and fork when replacing it.

Did you add the clip to the TOB and fork? If not did you have any problems when driving? I'm in the same boat right now, never saw the clip when I was replacing it but every video I watched there was a clip keeping the TOB and fork attached.
