Just chill'n in windy Nebraska. Patiently waiting for retirement to go back to Alaska.

That earthquake was crazy today. My family checked in and they're all good.

Sup home slices!!

Looks like, due to some very unfortunate family matters, I'm back in the Subaru game.

I’m still here, infrequently though. Kind of stopped doing car things when I got my job at Clear.

I spend most of my time in News & Rumors and OT. Not really much going on. Got a 17 Impreza Sport hatch and a 14 Crosstrek. Will be getting rid of the Crosstrek eventually as it was just a holdover vehicle. Impreza is pretty nice and I plan on keeping it until either an STI hatch returns with a new engine, or the Impreza is paid off and I get myself another sports car (updated BRZ, rumored mid-engine Subie/Toyota MR2, or MX-5 RF).

I forget to check in here unless someone bumps a thread I'm subscribed to.

Still here, this is my home page because I had a baby and now the sleep deprivation has made my memory terrible. I think I have permanent brain damage

So hopefully you've seen the explosion of conversations after Subaru teased a USDM STI S209 video the other day. It'll be the first "S" the US has ever received. Typically they're way more track-oriented than the Type RA, with even lighter wheels, bigger Brembos, more horsepower, more aero, less weight, more aggressive Recaro seats, carbon fiber pieces and aggressive suspension.

Type RA sold for $50k. S209 is going to have even smaller quantity and possibly only sold via lottery. My guess is closer to $60k. Crazy.

No EJ207, no care.

Things changed a lot when I moved back last summer. I'm not on social media much (IG/FB), so I just noticed that retrac lives in WA and has a new girl. When I first came back I ran into grantLGT at Subaru, who informed me that Element Automotive was no more.

I still take my car to Subaru and CCA Motorsports. I see GrinderAK working at Subie still, chillin on local TV commercials.

I sometimes wave at other Subies only because I feel my car looks sporty enough to allow it.

I'm sort of still lurking... I don't have Facebook, Instantgram, or the other stuff... Most STis and WRXs are kids now, even my wife takes my STi out and says she gets annoyed by the children now-a-days...

I miss the good days...

Wait, I remember when your RS was stolen! Washington, right? Where'd you end up finding it? There's an RS in Anchorage that resembles yours a little bit.

I was thinking about your wheel to wheel dirt race using snow tires the other day. Such horror!

They found it abandoned in the park out of town. They stole all my belongings and the radio out of it. Also took my auto start antenna (maybe they thought it was the alarm?)....I'm just glad I got it back.

Dang! Me too! Washington is crazy. Somewhere over there, there's a black 2013 STI'd BRZ Limited cruising around with a twitchy 5th gear. A part-out could easily repair the transmission. Dem Brembos doe.

Still around lurking. Had a 13 Raptor for the last year and back in a Subie now. A 14 STI. Loved the truck, lots of fun, but definitely more car guy so here I am. Still give the Subie wave even though I rarely get one in return.
