Default FlexConverter.com Plug-and-Play Bluetooth E85 Sensor

This weekend I installed the Bluetooth E85 sensor from FlexConverter.com

http://flexconverter.com/collections/subaru

This is a product made and sold by the creator of the Carberry ROM. His ROM's now support full Flex Fuel. I am still using COBB SD so I'm not using the Flex Fuel application, but I still like having the sensor for ethanol percentage and fuel temp. This setup uses a Bluetooth app (for your phone) instead of a hard mounted gauge. This saves cost and works well for what I need.

The kits are fully plug and play and the kit I got is set up for a speed density setup. The harness has one connector for the OEM MAF wiring, another wire for a GM IAT sensor, and the last connector is for the GM ethanol sensor. Just splice the sensor into the fuel return line and everything else is plug and play. Install takes just a few minutes.

The last fill up I did was from a different gas station that I normally use. It is right next to my work, but normally doesn't have as good of E85. The sensor confirmed that it was only 69%. I'm hoping to get a new tank in soon from my normal station and see how it compares.

The system is designed to work in tandem with the Carberry ROM and uses bluetooth for calibration of the unit and for viewing ethanol content remotely.

He's just using it for the ethanol sensor/bluetooth portion, but from the people who are also running the Carberry ROM and are using it for blended or weekend fill-ups it works perfectly. Nobody has reported any issues with it yet, but I'm not sure how many people are using it quite yet.

More information is available on romraider and the flexconverter.com site.

If one was curious, you could download the latest Carberry rom and definitions, and check out the tables yourself to see.

I dont mind the bluetooth feature but lets say you want to add a 52mm gauge to display percentage. Could you do that?

It does not read gasoline octane. Only ethanol content in the fuel.

Does anyone know if this setup (or any setup from flexconverter.com) will work on a '15 STI? I'm curious specifically about hooking up the ethanol content analyzer. I will probably end up connecting it to the ECU via the rear O2 plug or one of the TGV plugs (if possible) and plan to have the car tuned by COBB Plano to run flex fuel. As best I can tell my only options for this is a setup similar to this from foexconverter.com or pay $600 (outrageous) for basically the same thing from COBB.

I know that COBB's system uses the rear O2 plug for power and sends data to the ECU via the TGV. I'm trying to find something that works in the same or a similar way. Any help is appreciated.
