Is that red thing on the lift a 964? Or some 993 variant? Love your build, but pics of that too please

I'm slowly restoring a 75 914, that is going to end up with an EJ253 like my 07 impreza.

Sounds look a cool build. The car was restored and its mediocre at best.....there's not a whole lot of tuning available for the car yet they want it to make 400awhp. We got it a lot better then it was but the cars got a ton of mechanical issues from the shop that was working on it which is causing a lot of issues. They brought it here 3 times and it wouldn't even break 200awhp. So we picked up quite a bit

It is pretty funny when you see the work and logic of the big names in that community. Very few are good at what they do, all charge the same and have the same rep.

More of your build

yeah they are nice people and i mean it seems to run solid but it seems like all the little things were forgotten on it... like the things got a HUGE exhaust leak right from the header. its like how does your senior tech miss that?

not to mention the customer found all his parts sourcing on the internet which usuaully never works. so they have had to redo a lot of things more then once until the customer finally realized hes in the wrong.

more of my build to come this weekend... nothing major will happen till after the new year as i have a lot of family things to attend to. but soon soon soon.

I payed 400 even. This blowers special. Its a Eaton m90 off a jaguar xj7. However this is a non egr model which is pretty rare. Also this thing came with Teflon coated rotors, its never been apart and the guy sold it to me with the inlet and outlet that includes a bpv. It was a complete unit and and well worth what I payed. The brackets are all custom via me and my boss

Not really sure what he's talking about. If he's asking about blower kits no one really makes one. Trade wind makes one for the older model imprezas and rimmer use to make one but not anymore. Most of the blower kits out there are home brew setups. Mine is not going to be like the rest....its overkill for how much power it will make

Hey, always nice to have more headroom for bigger power further down the line, right?

Yeah except its a Subaru lol. Don't want big power out of it. Costs more to make the same power as other cars honestly.

But yeah I plan to run this thing at around 10-12 Psi eventually. Idk be happy with like 250awhp
