Congrats on the car! Do you know if the BOV is recirculating or 100% vent to air?

I liked that catback when I had it. It's not too loud but you can hear it when you open up the throttle. It's very subtle on cruise so it doesn't have much drone.

Welcome again and enjoy the car!

04 wrx 2.5 motor? I believe in 04 the only wrx that had a 2.5 is the sti...the WRX didn't get it until 06.

That's a 2002-2003 WRX (bugeye). WRXs didn't have a 2.5L until 2006 so if it has a 2.5L, then it's a swapped motor. The BOV isn't good for the car and an upgraded clutch could cause potential transmission problems if you beat on it too hard. I'd let someone who knows Subarus take a look at it because it looks like you're not sure what's in it.

Look at the pictures posted by Bo0stin5STI. If it ends in "25", like his picture, it's a 2.5L

Do you have any shots under the hood of the car at all? We can probably tell you from one picture.
