Can someone pull a Code for me today?
Hey all,
Well, for the last week I have been pulling a CEL on the highway at cruising speeds. I ran a data log while the CEL occured and nothing is coming up strange so I am already 90% sure it is the second 02 sensor in my exhaust since I put the TXS TBE system on. (I guess the heat wrap and paint sealant didn't do the trick to stop this.) Anyway, I just want to pull the code to be 100% before I go get the CEL fix for the car and have it put on. (I have inspection coming up soon, do not need to be having issues with a CEL.) I know the CEL fix is "For race use only. Designed for cars that will never be driven on a public road. Not for street use" but I really have no choice. I am pretty sure this should not affect anything and inspection will not be an issue. If anyone has a few minutes today to do this for me I would really appreciate. I will come meet you where ever you are at (I work in Centreville) and if it is around lunch time I will treat you to some place to eat (within reason, heh). Also, anyone have opinions on which CEL fix is better than another or are they all pretty much the same? (www.fastwrx.com has one for $50, did not know of any other places...) Thanks for your time, Kevin PS> I know I could go to Pep boys or some place like that to have them pull it but I guess I am a little leary about having someone who might not know anything about what they are doing rip through the car... it is my last resort.

Thanks...
Thanks Danny... I really appreciate the information... if I do not hear from ITWRX4ME then I will do that...
I also just heard back from the TXS guys on my data logs.. .trying to figure out what they are saying... Nathan told me I THINK that my data logs look like my UTEC was not involved and it was just my normal ECU working and Phil said they looked good... waiting for a reply back.... Thanks goodness it is Friday... |

Kevin, it was nice meeting you. Hope the P0546 isn't anything serious. Check you on I66 some time.
Your wagon looks nice, BTW. Love the guages. |
