Default Scooter: Honda Ruckus

My brother and I share a car out here at school because it is much easier to park 1 car than 2, and we don't really need a 2nd car here. Anyways, when the summer rolls around, I'm thinking about getting a sub 50 cc scooter of some sort for tooling around town, especially since gas is getting quite expensive and my RS doesn't quite get the best gas mileage in the city.

Anyways, we're looking at a Honda Ruckus (used of course). Does anyone have any experience with them or a good classifieds site?

The main reason I want a sub 50 cc bike is so I don't have to do the full license, registration, insurance deal.

Spend the $500 on a Trek road bike. Even in biking compression shorts you'll look less gay.

Full_Clip can't stand the sound of them.

Thanks, I missed that.

Full_Clip - Don't care. I already have a mountain bike. Pedalling over 2 miles to run to the work and back doesn't work, especially when I'm a sweaty mess when I get there.

It tops out at like 30 mph. I couldn't take that...
