ok with the all the different options for engine manegment out there i need to get some things straight. TXS and Vishnu say they will tune their unichips and reflashes to their current stages and nothing else. Heres my point of confusion: i dont understand how different exhaust components like turbo back exhausts and up-pipes could effect the tunning needed to optimize your level of mods. I mean i understand how different intercoolers, intercooling piping, fuel deliverly stuff and different turbos would effect the needed tuning but how does exhaust stuff change it. If anyone can shed light on this it would be much appreciated. And yes i searched but anything that i found was outdated.

Also for the utek from txs will they send you maps for your specific mods to get you at a starting point for you to tune with or will they only do the utek to their stages as well.

Your kind of confused there buddy.

For turboxs stage 2 map you should have a turbo back exhaust. It doesn't matter what kind it is. The same things goes for vishnu, meaning that as long as you have the same kind of components the map will be ok for you. What they don't want you doing is asking them to make a map for a turbo back and CAI and nitrous.

So just stick to the same mods that are in the "stage" it will be fine!

you will when you see different boost curves and the need for fuel/boost and timing changes to take full advantage of the free flowing(well to a degree) exhaust- Take a look at the vishnu stage 1 torque curve and post back here if you think tuning isnt necessary with as much torque as a vf 30 car much much earlier
