Default Fast Fridays at Ennis - Texas Motorplex

I realize it's short notice, but I'll be headed to Ennis tonight to participate in their Fast Friday event, which happens only about 12x a year. This is one of our only local 1/4 mile tracks (that I'm aware of). Here are the details I know:

* Price to race all night is $15. You can get as many races in as you like, you just wait in line when you're done. Spectating is only $10. Visa/MC or cash.
* Helmet may be required depending on your ET (the threshold is somewhere between 12.99 - 13.99), but they have helmets there that you can wear. You run once, then they'll tell you if you need one on your second (and future) run(s).

I've never been but the person I spoke with on the phone said that you should be able to race a decent amount of times. In fact, I've never driven an 1/8 or 1/4 mile track before. I don't drive the Subie every day anymore, and have moved on to a 2011 335i Coupe with an AccessPort and no other mods.

Hope to see someone out there tonight.

Cheers,
Chad

I may have missed you, I left right around 8pm. Ran a 14.105, launch and 60' times weren't great, but my trap speed was decent at 101mph.

Cheers,
Chad

Here is a link to the current schedule:

Looks like August 22, September 5, or November 7 are your choices the rest of this year.

Had a good time at Fast Friday last night. My best time was a 14.513 @ 100.98. Only relevant mod on the car is the cobb 1+ ots tune (for now)....not bad I guess.

Ended up talking to the owners of AWD Tuning, got some info on going stage 2 which will most likely happen in the near future. Oh, and they were running their 12 and 10 second cars

All in all was a good time. Saw lots of muscle cars, imports, race/street bikes and some dragsters.
