Hey Freeze is there any modifications that need to be done to the car to accept the M2 intercooler?
Also does the piping that goes across the front of it bolt to the M2 intercooler? |

Should be a complete replacement. No modifications needed to the IC....however I would not recommend using the HKS SSQV with it, it hits the bottom of the hood.
The aluminum piping you see that screws into the stock IC does not screw into the M2. I just let it rest on the BOV and it was fine. I think some people make their own custom piping and reroute underneath the IC, but I noticed no ill effects or noise from it. Nirmit |

Ok thanks! I'm still debating, and trying to get a digital to take pics of the rims for you. Is there another (wider) version of the M2 intercooler? just wondering.
anything is better than the stock one |

Freeze are you on the stock turbo? Also do you have any impressions to offer about the TMIC?

If it weren't a pain in the ass to me to reattach the stock BOV to the hoses I would...God I hate that lower hose. I like the sound too Its fun to release pressure next to some ricer and see him take off at the sound of the BOV Nirmit |

No problem...I do not believe m2 has any other TMIC other than this one, it is the only one shown on their site. I am running stock turbo. Only impressions I have are suggestive...physically feels MUCH cooler than the stock one did. It would be conclusive if I had an Air Temp measurement gauge for the IC but I do not. The boost response was smoother also. Hope this helps, Nirmit |
