I think the brz is 45mm but I could be wrong. Also thought the 04 sti was 17x8 like the new wrx wheel?

So who wants to help pull a motor? I'm really not very Subaru intelligent.

You have an S2000 or NSX hiding somewhere? Otherwise I think you'll be disappointed.

I'll take a BRZ on with our Honda... Its no slower than an s2000.
We can start with a drag race, followed by a 50mi hwy drive, and see who's fastest and who has the best mpg's...

And as far as the wheels, its the year change that changes it, 04 STi are 5x100, and 17x7.5. The 05 STi got the 5x114.3 pattern and 17x8. So there are both, technically.

Unless you've made lots of top secret progress on a new motor... wouldn't this be a race as to who could push their car faster? (i'm sure a motorless honda would have a weight advantage...)
Or is there a surprise in store for the Apr 14th drive...?

My old integra was faster that either of my old S2000s

Honda won't be done till probably next year, have lots of things to do before a motor goes in, but a brz/frs will need a blowdryer to keep up.

Forester is slow and will be out for a litte longer should have it put back together by the drive though

Then it's entirely possible... the brz is not super fast. It's fun, like driving an MR2

Ok need advise took the fozzy to a mechanic (not a guy I know real well or my number one option but a guy who owed my dad a large chunk of $$$$$ ) to replace head gasket and t belt... I don't have time to do it or I would have, thought it would take a week at max. Here it is two weeks later he pulled the motor because he said that's the only way to pull the heads ( I know that isn't true) and now says to mil the heads is more expensive than normal cars...... Is there truth to that? I'm getting annoyed ........

Not that it can't be done in the car, but pulling the heads would be so much easier with the motor out. Not quite sure what he means by "milling the head costing extra on a suby" tho? And why are we milling them anyway? Did the HG blow n overheat? Typical leaky ej25 twincam, i don't think you'd need to do anything but replace them? But Lusio could chime in here, maybe i'm wrong.

Yeah, just txt Lusio, i would gather they do this job on 25D's on a daily basis practically.

But, especially since its gotta have some head work done, i'd think about having all the valves checked out & re-clearanced anyway.
