Question VOLK Group CV-Pro weight

Hello all...

I have a quick question which I have not been able to find the answer to anywhere.

I have a set of 17x8.5 & 17x9.5 VOLK Group CV-Pro wheels and I need to know the weight short of stripping the tyres off and weighing them.

These wheels are kinda oldshool now and there's no info that I can find anywhere. I would also like to know what they are made of. Whether they are forged or whatever.

Any help much appreciated!

Wheels:

VOLKS 1

VOLKS 2

They look really really heavy...I'd say they're non-forged, at least 20 lbs each.

Another way is to weigh the whole thing, get the weight of the tires from the manufacturer's site (assume it's a popular tire), and do some substraction.

WOW, CV-Pros are VERY old school. I remember seeing those in all my ancient issues of Option Mag. They were the hot ticket on FC3S Rx's & R32 Skylines. Sterns were too, and I had one of the few sets in the US on my Integra. Brings back memories!

Anyways, try checking out the VOLK/RAY'S Japan website for specs. Sorry, I don't have the link.

Peace

CL
