Unhappy 3 times the charm!Good and Bad news

Well I have had a problem with my 5th gear syncro. I would get a grinding going into 5th at any where from 55mph on up. They fixed it twice before and it's back.
I started to notice it yesterday and it's get worse. It's not real bad. It will shift but it will get to a point where it will tear up the 5th gear and fork in the tranny. Like I said, "3 times the charm." It Lemon Law time. I would say it the same thing, AGAIN!
I am going to goto the dealer later this week and talk to the service guy to check it out. It's probably going to be the same problem, so I will be talking the salesman who sold me the car and see about getting a new car. The problem started when it came from the factory. It had to do with a sinch nut on the 5th gear syncro that was not install properly at the Factory and came loose after it was driven awhile. They replce the 5th gear and syncro the first time and did the same thing the second time plus a new fork.

I am going to ask them first to just replce the tranny. If I get no responce. I'll look at talking to a lawyer about getting a new car.

Good luck. Have you checked the lemon laws in your state? I know that is what it is in Illinois, but not sure about MO.

I smell a lemon law Seriously though going to a lawyer and through all the stuff takes about 3 months, but you could always end up getting a WRX too
