Not sure if this has been covered under one of the other model-specific sections, but I'm wondering it there are known issues and fixes for the giant tablet interface on the higher trim levels of the 2022 WRX. Mine has a couple of different symptoms that pop up very occasionally that are pretty annoying, but I know I'll never be able to get them to repeat if I bring it in to the dealer for warranty repair. It seems like a number of different Subaru models share the same infotainment system, so maybe there's a larger audience that might have seen these.

The two issues I've seen are:

1) Occasionally (like 3 or 4 times in the 8 months that I've had the car), there is no audio whatsoever when the system boots up. No radio, no sound on phone calls, nothing. Haven't been able to correlate any common conditions when this happens, since it's so infrequent and random. Shutting the car off, waiting 30 seconds and re-starting seems to fix it. But whatever you do, don't shut the car off for only a second or two and re-start to try to re-boot because that makes the system lose its mind.

2) Even less frequently (like twice now that I can remember), the infotainment system is completely black after startup with nothing working -- no home screen, no backup camera, absolutely no display at all. The first time it happened, it stayed that way for my entire 10 minute commute to work. The second time, it came on after maybe 3 or 4 minutes. I was wondering if it was doing some sort of operating system update during that time.

Anyone with ideas whether the dealer would know what to do with either of these issues, or if it's just the pitfalls of driving a giant video game with no analog controls?
