Lazer Tag!
So, I have had this mean urge to go lazer tagging, I looked up some prices and it's about $8 a game and ~$172 to rent the room. If there is enough interest here I was thinking of renting the room, if not, I would love to get a few of you out there with me lazering it up. If you are down for going, post a few dates you would be free and we can see when everyone is available. I will be down for going more then once too though, so if everyones days don't match up maybe we can have a few lazzer tag sessions. I was thinking PlanetLazer http://www.planetlazer.net/ @ this location http://www.planetlazer.net/IMAGES/newwest-location.jpg

I tried organizing paintball with a friend before. Takes at least a month to prepare. If you want a private game, you need 20+ ppl, which costs about $40 / person for the entire day. 10am - 4pm ish.
Additional paintballs cost like $150 for 1500 paintballs. If I could remember, $40 gets you a) rental paintball gun + 100 paintballs b) coveralls for your clothing + mask c) playing time from 10am-4pm in their fields. d) instructions + rules But yea. . . the only paintball place I know of, is in Tsawassen ( however you spell it). Back on topic now. I'm down for Lazer Tag |

Paintball is expensive
Especially if you're really trigger happy like me. I remember playing once for my bday and I ran out during a game, so I was trying to scare people into hiding while I was running around firing blanks and running for the flag Didn't work.. got sniped by my ex... in the crotch |

I prefer paintball... the pain makes it more exciting. And I mean that in the cleanest of ways.
Anyhow... I would be interested depending on which day it is. EDIT: Just wanted to share one of my paintball moments. It was at Tsawwassen paintball... Near the end of the day on the big field, my buddy and I were getting pretty bored. So we came up with a plan. Run up beside the dike and ambush these guys from the side. Seem pretty good at the time, but we enlisted too many people and so we were spotted. Running up the dike they got shot in too many places that should not have been shot. I was standing behind somebody, so I was fine. Last edited by 06impreza; 03-02-2007 at 01:55 AM. |

The warmer weather should help if we go paintballing, I'm still running on C02, never bothered moving to air yet, the regulator only does so much....
Time to clean and oil the marker. |

I'll be selling my Compressed air tank this season, replacing it with a bigger and better unit. Still, for someone using Co2 right now, my 48ci, 3500psi compressed air tank will be the best upgrade you can do. Compressed air is the only way to fly. So consistant, so clean, and it doesn't freeze your balls (not those balls, sicko!). Quote:
Just remember, don't get hit when they start shooting at you. That's the secret to winning in paintball. |

There are filling stations out on the field, I think they're really just scuba tanks for compressed air. They can also refill your Co2 tanks for you. If you head to any paintball shop they should be able to fill up your tank for like $2.00.
Usually any marker that can run on C02 tanks and has the right threads, you can run compressed air with. The really cheap markers from Zellers with the 12 grams, probably not unless you get a drop-forward installed or modify it so you can screw on 12/20oz C02 tanks. I wanted to move to compressed air but I don't think it was worthwhile on my electro marker (Jt 6.0) for now. I used to run an old Piranha, if I find a good deal on an autococker (yeah I said it!) I'd move to compressed air. |
