CoolRex ran an 11.785 @ 122.64 on a stock ej205 and 5mt with an 18g. He said he went 11.6 @ 123.9 with a 6 speed after the 5mt went, but I don't know if that time is specific enough for your list. He also drove another guy's stock motor bugeye with an evo3 16g to 11.9 @ 119.80, but I never got to see the time slip or even find out whose care it was.
jmlaser went 11.966 @ 117.48 on his stock ej205 and '02 5mt with an 18g and some race gas, and JSarv did 12.071 @ 115.9 with a 100K+ ej205, 8cm 18g, and 6mt. |

Yea my 11.75/119 was on a 07 6spd. Though I think the whole point of this topic is stock ej205(or 207) times at stock weight.
Who cares what else you do to get down the track, the issue is how fast can you go on the stock block at stock weight (how much power will it hold). The guys who have gone 11s at all on a stock 5mt deserve some serious recognition!!! but thats another whole subject |

Back in the day a local guy, Dan Bijalis went 11.922@121 with an FP Green. This was in a 2002 WRX back in 2002 with the stock 5MT.

I believe the fastest I went with a stock 5 spd was 11.5 @ 122ish, but it didn't last very long

My 4.44 fxt tranny is holding up so far although I shouldn't talk too loud, I already broke the factory 3.90 box and a ppg box (snapped shift fork in that one).
Thanks for the update Doug! Trey |

Personally I have a wagon with a 6spd... so it's a heavy turd. When I made my 11.7 run I had taken a few things out to try and compensate (spare, rear seat, few odds and ends etc. Needed room for my surge setup I'd be willing to bet I was still as heavy as a stock 5spd sedan or heavier) I don't think anyone is going to get too pissy unless someone breaks this record with a gutted, stripped down car? |

That 100 lbs of AC, sound deadening, back seat, carpet and random trim are only going to save but so much time. |

Driving (more so launching and the 1-2-3 shifts) is what matters most. Then we can argue setup for launching and stability...but most subie guys don't mess with suspension geometry and dampening. Heaven forbid |

Heh what about the BRZ? It is a 2L.
There have been a few run 11.1-11.3 @127-129mph. One of those (FBM) now has 150 more HP. |

Tangential a bit, but your results are a great example of proper matching. Many 2.0L guys opt for the 8cm and 10cm housings because its the right choice on the 2.5L. 7cm is just right for the 2.0L...

Was looking for this thread again.
I went 11.30 @ 121 mph Stock block / stock head Ver8 207 Car is a 1993 Wagon with a bunch of weight reduction. I haven't weighed the car lately but I will once I get it setup again. I'm guessing it was around 2,700 lbs with me in it for the 11.30. Had a nasty boost leak that killed the HX35 on it. The car wasn't really making good power. Running a '05 STi 6spd/R180 and big heavy 17x9.5 wheels. Car was running the stock Twinscroll headers with a VF to T3 adapter with a Holset HX35 built by Garage 808. The turbo specifically was a HX35W 8 blade compressor with the stock 12cm hotside with the stock wastegate welded up. It hit 20psi around 4k in 3rd with the HX35, the HX40 is significantly laggier but should shine on race gas I hope. Put a Holset HX40 on it now and am going to swap to a different clutch setup and take it back to the track and try to run 10's on 92 pump gas then turn it up and see what I can do or bust. -Tim |

Hmmm I ran 9.9 on a stock 2.5 shortblock for fun with my road course car before starting time attack season this year. If someone gives me a stock EJ207 shortblock I'll give running another 9 on it a shot after time attack season. If it needs a bit more boost than the 2.5 liter to run a 9 my setup has plenty in reserve.
