I absolutely LOVE red. Only problem is, subaru doesn't have any pre-painted parts for San Remo Red. So painting gets pricey, which is the main reason I have yet to buy STI splitters and an STI hood scoop

Agreed! The paint alone was half the price of getting my wingless trunk painted. All because it was red.

This is from post 343. Not the most artistic photo but a photo nevertheless.

They look a lot better in my opinion. I wish I hadn't waited 4 years to do mine.

Mine were already painted when I got it. Either they were already painted on the premium package or the previous owner did it. Either way its a score. When I got my car I didn't really want red but it has definitely grown in me.

I originally didn't want red either. I believed the whole conspiracy of 'red cars are more expensive to insure'. Then, after talking with my insurance agent, I realized it would only be $5 more/month than my old '01 mitsubishi galant!

The 05's come painted from the factory.

It's funny how none of us were really fans of the red but now love it (at least I do).

I wonder how much of a price difference it would be to order pre-painted 05 side skirts than painting mine... hmmmm...
