![]() Hi,
I looked around but can't seem to find the information. So here I am... The SPT short-shifter kit, does it use urethane bushing? I'm considering changing them if they're not already urethane ones to improve the shift feel. Thanks.

![]() The SPT SS is junk compared to what you can get aftermarket for the same money.... Changing to a good Kartboy SS and the full bushing kit from TiC will make a bigger difference...

![]() ^ How so? Is it further reduction in throw? Or is it just a more precise shift? I could use both really...

![]() The SPT SS will keep the OE geometry, which is a good thing. I've got the TIC holy shift kit, and would couple that with the SPT shifter.

http://www.turninconcepts.com/produc...roducts_id=321 That's the only one I could find on their website, and it seems the SPT SS owner would need a narrow pivot bushing (?) from what I read on their other product the super shifter set. |

![]() It depends which OEM SS kit they put in your car. That is something that is installed at the dealer and not at the factory. Problem is that the dealer sometimes uses the kit from the older cars which is different, but will fit. The newer 08+ kits have the same pivot bushings as the factory lever, but the older ones need the narrow version. The best thing to do is measure the pivot point. If it's just about an inch wide you need the narrow. If it's closer to 1.25" you need the wide.
