Default Exhause help for 2000 2.5 RS

I like the look of the Stromung dual tip, and I heard it works just fine with a 2.5" cat back. Anyone know where I can order one?
Also, the 2000 2.5 RS has 2 cats, and I think I read somewhere (Probably in Sport Sompact Car) that someone was working on a mod for a Since Cat, but they were in the middle of dealing with the sensor problem. (Since there is one cat sensor per cat) has anyone heard of this? My #1 cat is going bad so I might was well fix everything at once. Any info/URLs would be greatly appreciated.

They have both. I would try

He might be able to get the random tech cat even though he doesn't list it.

The RS cats are actually a "split single cat" design. Each cat scrubs different emisisons from the exhuast system (its not 2 full cats). Any high-flow cat will be fine, I use a Catco brand universal that is welded in place... cost for cat + install was under $100.

BTW, 2.5" catback is a little large for an essentially stock car... you will lose some responsiveness down low.

Ya...I dunno, they are ripping people off for that price

I'v seen the random tech full cat pipe (everything in that pic) for 349 + shipping.

EDIT: Looking at that whole site...its a rip-off

Stromung for 599?! Ya right!
Exhaust hangers for 16.99 each! I got 4 for 21.00
79.99 for a K&N filter?!
Lowering springs (no brand mentioned): 499 !!!
Kartboy SS/Bushings: 139/49!!!
Prodrive shift knob: 119

EVERY one of these I'v mentioned couvd be found cheaper LOTS of places. They are even more expensive than their manufacturers are selling them for. Somethign is fishy about this place.

I choked when I saw the $599 pricetag.... And thanks for the info on the cats, I did not know that. Now that still leaves me with one question.... How do I dea with the 2 Cat sensors so that I'm not constantly having a check engine light?

BTW I also meant to say 2.25" pipe...my mistake.

AMC Quade, just noticed you're in Denton... I'm up in Wichita Falls. The shop that did all my exhuast work has no qualms about swapping in a high flow cat (or removing cats for that matter). IIRC you have emissions in Denton Co but we don't up here . I'd recommend that you get a Catco high flow cat from Summit Racing and have the existing cats removed. An exhuast shop can give you new flanges or cut off the flanges and reuse them so you can bolt the piece in and out. As for the rest of the exhaust system, do the math... a straight through muffler is a straight through muffler.

As for the CEL fix, I've never had a "cat inefficiency" code even with full headers BUT I've got a MY99 and our emissions system is a little different than the MY00+. All the "fix" is is a resistor placed in line with the O2 sensor signal wire and it fools the ECU into thinking all is well. Personally, I'd try the cat see if you get the ineff code... if you can live with the light I'd say live with it, it doesn't affect drivability.
