People who got their specialist statud before Imprezer changed the level from 65 to 555 are still spcialists. I've seen newbie's with 350-400 posts. *shrug*

Heh, it'd take about a week and a half or so... I only do about 40 posts/day.

heh, I'm a specialist, and I don't have 555 posts (at least I don't think so; haven't checked in a while). Guess I lucked out getting to specialist so quickly. So what'd Alex think; the level of discussion on the board had deteriorated so much that 555 posts were needed before the average newbie became rational?

I think it's just a number, but more honestly, the newbie seems to get in tune with the community around 100 posts or so, more in some rare cases, less in others.
