Y/N question, warranty when buying used in non-Subaru dealership?

I’m going to buy a WRX from a non-Subaru dealership. The car is 05 and below 36k, so it is under warranty, but if I have any problems with the car, I can still bring it to any Subaru dealership and they should take care of it, correct?

The warranty goes with the vehicle, not the owner. Remember that under the 3/36 your wipers, brakes and bulbs are covered

BTW, you also have a 5 year 60,000 mile powertrain warranty which covers alot.

Seeing you bought the car used, you might want to check into getting an extended warranty, like Subaru's Added Security. You never know how the previous owner treated the vehicle. Just purchase it before your factory warranty runs out....it's much cheaper that way.

Extended warranties are usually worth exactly jack squat. It does'nt matter if the damage was done by you or the previous owner. The subie dealer will find a way to weasel out of it. Your choice though. Congrats on your purchase.
