![]() I don't know if this is common knowledge or not but I had a little difficulty finding this. My subaru dealer wouldn't find the part number for the alumanium hood. BUT any subaru dealer can order the hood if you give them the part number so here it is: Part Number 57220FA130
this will come in their system as the Aluminium alloy hood. So if you've been wanting one you can order through your local subie dealer and avoid having tho pay shipping/freight charges if you don't mind waiting for it to come with their regular shipment (you shouldn't have to wait more than 2 weeks, hopefully) Its abou the same price as a decent CF hood, I paid $580 for mine through the dealer.

![]() Oh, sorry but I don't know the PN. Drop a line to Peaty at Scoobymods, he may know.
Or North Ursalia will know. Check the part numbers on www.northursalia.com and if it isn't there, Email him (his name is Brian). =S2= |

![]() Thanks. That's a good bit of weight, but still about $33/lb to get it.

![]() according to Renick subaru/motorsprts the stock (steel) hood weighs 34 lbs. The alumanium hood weighs in @ or under 15 lbs.
that works out to a 19lb. weight savings at a cost of $14.26 per pound over the cost of the steel hood (I have to replace my hood anyway....d*** deer ![]() |

![]() If you include paint and are just upgrading for the heck of it, it is $53/lb. Time to go workout. I'd be pretty svelt at 19lbs lighter.
