Glad that its at least getting warmer. Almost enough to break the hose out without fear of it freezing!

Thanks!
Temps are getting better, it's in the low 40's this morning. Hopefully hit 50's by mid-week. The cooler summer temps totally outweigh the longer winters though. I'm not a huge fan of the heat.

Yea... U can send some of that winter down here to northern VA any time you'd like. We have "near misses" all the time.

Any pending future plans for the whip?

Lots going on soon, very small things but they'll add up to something cool at the end. I'm staying clear of more power for the time being and focusing on cosmetic details.

The big hold up has been my garage, it's been put on hold since November and without it I'm not touching the car. I did my sway bars outside and swore I would never work like that again. They are pouring the foundation next Tuesday and should be done within a week or so.

Then it's mod time!

Did you have a different set of sways before the RCE ones? If so, how do they compare? Been thinking about getting the Eibach set since they are $100 cheaper than the RCE's.

I only ran the stock setup up until I put the RCE's on.
I'm going out on a limb to say that I do feel that the Eibach's will be just as good in terms of the actual handling.
The extra $100 for the RCE bars will get you a better finish that will resist rusting 100x better then the Eibach and the customer service of a smaller company that will help you out with ANY suspension questions at any time.

That's what sold me. The Maine winters are tough on cheap finishes and being able to talk to Myles at RCE was well worth it.

Hope that helps a bit to weight out the differences.

This is an amazing writeup. Thanks for all the effort you put in to this. Just out of curiosity, how much is the timelapse of the Alcantara sped up? As in, how long did it actually take?

Overland, I know you made the great write up on the injector install. My question is did you get tuned immediately after installing them? See I'm getting ready to get tuned on e85 next week and will be installing the injectors myself. I'm just unsure of how safe it is to drive from my house to my tuner with them. Thanks.

Hey man,
before you install your injectors, speak to your tuner. What most tuners will do is send you a limp map with the specs of your new injectors. It's a generic map that he'll make up to compensate for the larger injectors to get you to their shop.
I was able to drive the 6hrs to the shop on the limp map without an issue. You'll want to take it easy (no boost) but you'll be fine.

If not, you could flood the motor/foul plugs as soon as you start it up.

Good luck!
