Default Now this is what I call a college visit

So I'm in blacksburg to visit VA Tech, we check into our room, and now my parents have gone to the bar . I swear I didn't want to see the campus or anything.

1. Go to an area with lots of college houses, there will be a party at one.
2. chat with people that are standing outside.
3. see whats happening inside the house.
4 Comence partying

This is the perfect time... you can just walk up to a girl (Preferably a hot girl) tell her that you are new and that you don't know what is going on or what there is to do...

See what happens. If I knew what I know now then... I would have do this weekly. Even if she tells you to piss off, move on to another girl. Trust me, one of them will think that it is cute and start talking to you... then you have your in!

Word.

Seriously use the "I'm new and have no idea what's going on" to your advantage. Walk up with a sheepish smile and it will absolutely work.

newsflash: I don't have my car, and the hotel is off campus.

I'd rather not have parents to help me explore campus, but I'm not the kind of person to just go out and talk to people, not everyone is gifted with an extroverted attitude

You see that is what is going to kill you at college. College gives you the oppertunity to explore life... change the way you do things and BE that person that goes out and just talks to anyone. You will be happy later in life if you listen to what I am saying...

I wasn't talking about your car having anything to do with transportation at this point. You obviously got there somehow, get your parents keys (they shouldn't be driving anyways if they're getting drunk0rz) and go on campus. This is the best time to find out wth actually goes on in the weekend. I would have LOVED to have had that experience at Alfred State to find out that, no, it isn't really a party school, and no, nothing happens then either.
