4 piston seals, 4 piston rings, 4 piston seal retainers, and a packet of grease to redo all of the seals in the front two. You keep the caliper halves, bleeder valves and pistons.

Are you required to split the caliper in half to do the rebuild?

No you can get everything out easily without taking the halves apart. They are really easy to split if you want to make things easier though.

The new midbass drivers (Peerless SLS) and tweeters (LPG 26NA) came in today. HFS they are huge!!! I am going to have to beef up my door and surrounding area rattle protection for these babies. My doors are already sealed and lined with Dynamat...but that isn't going to be enough with this excursion. I am going to have to break out the modeling clay and go to town on the car. The new midrange 4" drivers will be here on Saturday.

Those look awesome. Is there enough depth? Are you using spacer rings to mount them? Will they be angled up towards the driver. I used angled rings for the door speakers in my Honda and I really liked how it moved the sound up.

I already have spacer rings built and in the car for the previous Hertz drivers. The overall depth difference between these and the Hertz is only 8.2mm. The weight difference is huge though.

I don't need to angle them up because they are going to be getting the 100 - 300hz. Being a true midbass driver like that...the sound won't be directional in nature. I am able to do this because the new midrange (Scanspeak Discovery's) are going to handle the range between 300hz - 4k and are located on the a pillars effectively bringing the entire midrange stage up. The tweeters will handle everything north of 4k.

The car isn't done being prepped yet. It is getting the finishing touches/sanding/etc.

I have the INA W910/H800 DSP/PDX V9/CDT 6.5" front braxial kit w/up stage and US200 x over, rear alpine type X Coaxs (ols school), JL w3V3 10" singe sub. The imprint kida sucks, but at least with the H800 i can adjust it.
